The Hyde All Suite Hotel - Cape Town

The view from the roof top was excellent, offering a amazing panorama, made our evenings nice.

There was only 1 high chair for the whole hotel and restaurant, making it challenging during meal times with our infant.

I enjoyed all about the hotel and would recommend it. The property was clean with welcoming staff and savoury breakfast. The staff was always available throughout my stay.

Overall - wonderful and stylish place with cooperative staff from staff members so friendly and caring always willing to help and available. Marvellous and perfect position in Cape Town. An amazing restaurant and a sky bar available: D

Read this before you make a decision

The staff was AMAZING! From good interactions at reception to attentive service during meals, I felt genuinely welcomed .

Some amenities were lacking, especially the breakfast with limited options and often felt lukewarm.

The staff was excellent, cooperative all the time. The room we booked was new-fashioned and silent with bathroom, a queen bed, for instance.

The apartment was beautifully decorated to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Excellent position for all activities including shopping and sightseeing. Very friendly and helpful staff who were extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would happily stay there again.

There were no grab handles in the shower which could be slippery and dangerous. The bedroom could have been slightly larger so that we could have opened the door without banging the bed.

Perfect for Family Fun

The staff, especially Ashley, were pretty good! They returned my daughter's jewelry before we even realized it was gone. Plus, the room was massive, more like a small apartment! My kids loved having their own space.

Excellent location to run along the seashore or use the gym before work and to travel against the traffic to meetings. Large suites allow one to work or have meetings in your own room or in the meeting rooms. More intimate than a large chain hotel where you would only get a cramped room for the price of a suite at the Hyde.Quick check in and out.

Nice clean hotel, very limited breakfast. very good location. VA waterfront minutes away. free easy underground parking for the car. no A/c in bedroom and beds are queen size so a bit small for two people. but worth a couple of days stay. no room service but the hotel across the road does have and they will bring it to your room and put it on your hotel bill.

Just stayed for 3 nights in a Deluxe Suite, and blimey, it was like havin' a flat in London! Proper spacious, with a full kitchen and a comfy lounge. The staff were on it, always ready to lend a hand. Breakfast was a bit hit-or-miss though, could use a bit more flavour, I reckon.

The staff are very friendly and accomodating as are the room environment. Facilities are very good and it is well located for business or leisure purposes. Wifi, meeting rooms, penthouse pool deck, gym and fitness room, concept rooms, underground parking, safe, central location and more. Reletively speaking, you really will feel comfortable and content at the Hyde.

The only practical drawback experienced were that the bedroom closet and room door, are poorly constructed and make the usage of same diffucult.

Excellent location, close to shopping centres and activities. Staff extremely helpful, free wifi, bedroom a little small, but huge lounge and kitchen

Tiaan, the manager, went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable. The Luxury Suite was perfect-spacious with a large kitchen and lounge area. The rooftop restaurant offered fine mountain and sea views, and the calamari starter was a good treat.

The shower lacked a handheld option, a bit tricky.

The apartments was very modern and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is also well located and close to most amenities around the V&A Waterfront.
